Keith Millington

Keith Millington is a local South Canterbury jeweller based in Timaru whose metalsmithing journey began in his family’s engineering business of sheet metal work and tool and die making. His early interest in metals led him to jewellery classes and visual art studies, where he developed skills in die making and electroforming. He later spent eight years with a manufacturing jeweller, refining techniques in fabrication and stone setting. Inspired by the ocean, the natural world, archaeology, astronomy, and the artistry of ancient Egypt and Japanese metalsmiths, Keith creates designs in sterling silver and gold through forging, forming, and setting, honouring timeless traditions with wonder.
